Action Learning Sets

Tavistock Consulting Action Learning Sets are facilitated, work-focused co-consulting groups, typically with six to eight participants.

They are often diverse, involving senior leaders from within or across different sectors. Participants may anchor their development through a current problem or project in their working context or bring for consideration any specific dilemmas that they are facing in their role.

Our approach

Action Learning Sets offer a contained and safe context in which to reflect, play, innovate and create. They focus on understanding members’ experience of working together, examining assumptions and revealing blind spots, to understand better how they might be working in their organisations. As this approach becomes internalised, participants are empowered to actively create the context for a more reflective, open and innovative culture in their own workplace.
